Position Overview:
Perform in-process, and finished goods quality inspections ensuring merchandise meets Tiffany & Co. requirements. Perform component inspections. Record inspection data. Assist with Process Improvement Projects as needed.
Key Accountabilities:
Inspect merchandise throughout the manufacturing processes to ensure conformance to all Tiffany & Co. requirements.
Record inspection data and administer the disposition of rejected merchandise.
Participate in Process Improvement Projects as needed.
Participate in corrective action projects and other QA-related special activities.
Work safely at all times by consistently following safe work procedures for your position and all safety procedures required at your worksite. Promptly report all incidents and safety issues to your supervisor.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Ability to use a microscope for extended periods of time
- Good communication skills can communicate in English, both written and oral
- Attention to detail
- Overtime as needed
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to understand technical drawings.
Preferred Qualifications:
- College degree
- Three years of Quality Inspection experience or equivalent
- American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certification (CQM, CQE, CQA, CQT, CQIA)
- Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) knowledge
